On behalf of the Fort Ross School District I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our school’s website and invite you to join us in our quest to provide each and every one of our students the best education possible.

Fort Ross is a unique and special school, a place where students receive individualized attention and learning opportunities. The school’s strong core curriculum in Language Arts/Reading, mathematics and science is supplemented by weekly enrichment classes in music, art, technology, laboratory science, and library research. In addition, the school provides comprehensive assistance to all students needing help by way of instructional assistants at all grade levels, an after-school tutorial program, and a full range of special education services. Standardized test score results indicate that student scores are consistently amongst the highest in the region and graduates are well prepared for high school.

Parents and community members are encouraged to visit the school at any time. We are pleased to share with everyone the programs and services we have to offer and we encourage you to contact us if you have questions, need information, or would just like to see the school in action. Our energetic and dedicated staff invites you to become involved in the school community and help us prepare this community’s sons and daughters for life.
